Meet Dana
Dana discovered yoga in 2012 after undergoing physical therapy for Adolescent Idiopathic Scoliosis focused on postural restoration. After experiencing the benefits, she began using yoga therapeutically to address the impacts of complex childhood trauma. She was introduced to Yoga Faith by a friend who asked her to attend a 200-hour teacher training in 2019. This is where she learned to open her heart to a loving God and gained the courage to trust the Holy Spirit to guide both her practice and teaching. This experience — along with the mentoring and nourishing community of Yoga Faith –was the beginning of her journey to wholeness.
Dana experienced a transformational process as God took the ashes and brokenness trauma left her with and turned them into beauty. The more she learned, the more she felt God leading her into a healing ministry. She never imagined she would be where she is today and she is grateful that she can now help others on their journey, finding alignment and wholeness through Christ in mind, body, soul, and spirit.
